An excellent read for anyone especially those in New Brunswick who want to get a real organic perspective of our rivers in the past. This book is very sentimental as some of these rivers were hit hard from generations of my own family all in hopes of hooking an all mighty Atlantic Salmon. Very interesting how Dr George Frederick Clarke born 1883 described fishing those waters during his time, a very stark contrast of today. None the less it amazes me everytime I get a chance to cover the same waterways these legends once enjoyed, but how unbelievably sad they would be to see our returns of Salmo salar today. Next up, Kedgwick River.
