We are excited to announce our upcoming show - this August - September at the new art gallery on Bowen Island

This painting is titled "Link To The Future" oil on canvas, 80" X 120". I thought it prudent considering the current racial tension that currently exist in the US. The painting portrays the artist belief that despite cultural and economic differences between groups and the vague political boundaries imparted by law and policy, it is important to remember that we share a single world.

Thought that I would post some paintings that have some current social relevance. This painting is called "Cain and Abel", inspired by a painting by Francisco De Goya, "Duel With Cudgels". It pictures two brothers ( members of the same species) fighting. Man has never seemed to be able to learn from our past mistakes."Never forget", we never seem able to remember. When it comes to greed and power they will always revert to to their most basic primal means to achieve their end. Each side fighting in their God's name belittling their faith.
