Whoda thunk it? We planted this alfalfa in spring '18. It didn't seem to catch, and looked burned up with no rain this spring. Summer rains this year brought the alfalfa back to life, and our cows will love eating their fav this winter.

Went to check our cows in the pasture yesterday, and they chose to parade past me for inspection instead

Calving is just about finished, and I haven't posted any pics so here are a few.

Hopefully this cold spell is coming to an end. I am so looking forward to spring. First thing is to prep for chickens. They usually arrive in May so that's our first priority.
