We know that isolation from friends and family can be challenging at best. At worst there are a lot of families that struggle with it in terms of domestic violence/abuse. If you need anything - to talk, help to connect with resources, etc - message us! Really. <3

CAUTIOUS SUGGESTION: Very deep episode of Grey's Anatomy that deals with a few different scenarios of domestic violence. You all know this is something that I very passionately spread awareness about and raise funds for preventative programs. If you have Netflix (or any other means), I suggest you watch Episode 19 of Season 15, entitled "Silent All These Years".... YWCA Calgary

I am pleased to announce our keynote speaker for the 2019 Hope for Healing gala, Dr. Angela Mulrooney. Angela has led quite a life, let me tell you! She is fiercely competitive in the dance community, both local and international, and currently trains dancers through her own company, Unleashed Dance Company.
