Aravind's Road to Recovery

The waiting game!- Aravind received his brother's cells one week ago today. We wait anxiously until next week to see if the transplant was accepted or rejected. This time is critical as his immunity has been lowered to help the body accept the new cells and make them his own. Aravind is experiencing all the common symptoms of this stage of his treatment, but the doctors have reassured him it’s ok. And so, we wait until next week to hear the success of this first round of treatment. Continue to pray for his strength, and protection during this time of extreme vulnerability and that the transplant would accept the first time to speed up his recovery time. On the next stage! Aravind’s brother goes in for harvesting tomorrow! During this four hour process cells are collected by a machine and prepared for Aravind! Thank you for your continual support and prayers. We are so thankful to make it this far in the journey and every step is one move closer to realizing HOPE!
