Hope for Waiting Arms Infertility Support

Well we all know that this has been a challenging year for so many people. For some because of the events of 2020 that we all know and for others, devastating life events on top on all that this year brought. We knew pain and we knew struggles and we knew joy along the way too. Our little community stayed strong this year adapting to the ever changing restrictions. We had zoom meetings and outdoor socially distanced fires, and a Christmas party where we could finally be toget...her with masks on. I’m so proud of each and every one of you for showing up even though it is hard to be vulnerable. Telling your story through pain but knowing it’s good for you and good for others to share and support. We are starting off this new year with a new host (thank you @rmcmaneecounselling )and location (thank you @fleurishbarrie )but for the meantime while restrictions are still in place, we will be meeting via zoom. More details on that will come, but if you are interested in joining you can send us a message. As we look back on this year we are so excited to share that our little community has had so many successes! Day #9 # Hashtag I have learned a lot about hashtags lately and they are pretty useful when trying to connect with others in this online world. Hashtags can be used to group photos together from an event which multiple people took photos at. You can follow hashtags like #mightymamasbyadoption to discover other adoptive parents and their stories. You can use hashtags in your posts so that others can find you and learn something new or relate to you. You can also use a hashtag to start a movement like #blacklivesmatter or #kneetoknee

Day #8 Generations It’s World Adoption Day and we are celebrating in our family! I’m so grateful that my kids have their birth grandparents to teach them generations of traditions and stories from the families that created them. A Bonus is that They get to eat Nana’s delicious banana bread (also called Nana Bread) they will always know their health and family history. ... Day 7: Faith Faith is everything to us. We believe in God and he is the reason for it all. We chose to adopt because we knew we could love any child as our own. In the bible it says that God works all thing out for good for those that love him. Romans 8:28. So even though infertility was a hard and unpleasant thing, it led to the beautiful family we have now. We also believe that he had more purpose in the plan than just to bless us with children. We believe that he brought 4... sweet birthparents into our lives for a reason too! as well as the many birth Nanas and Papas that we have a relationship with.
