Day 3 of 4 days of Christmas Joy delivering Lifepacs to vulnerable youth. Deliveries to a remote community and children’s home with 150+ children - many orphaned and from conflict areas.

Soy Milk delivered regularly to some Burmese migrant children, most are orphans. Thank you for your help to provide not only high protein soy milk but meals also to these children.

In May we partnered with another Canadian/Myanmar ministry, FedWell, to provide high protein Alpha Nutri Soup mixes to hungry and vulnerable people in northern Myanmar. Today we have another opportunity to do the same. We need to ship 3,000 boxes containing 40 soup packs of 10 servings each from Yangon to northern Myanmar, 1,176 km by rail The cost is $1.25 per box. Simple---people are hungry, borders are closed, people have lost jobs, the poor and vulnerable are now poorer and much more vulnerable and we want to help. BTW 3,000 boxes is 120,000 soup packages or 1.2 million servings.

In a call this week from our partner in northern Myanmar near the China border he told us about recent food distribution efforts. In his words... There is a village called MaiMaw which is located in Wine Maw near Myitkyina. There are about (17) houses in that small village. Most of the people work as farmers in order to survive for their lives. The children could go to the School. In briefly, they live a simple life and they had their own land. Some of them are the members o...f Assemblies of God Church. A few years ago, some Businessmen from China came to that village and rent all of their land. After that, they started Banana farms all over that place. The people from that village became workers from landowners. They received 5,000 kyats ($4.90) per day for their working day. Businessmen from China grow Banana and then sell the Bananas back to China. Due to Co-vid, the China -Myanmar border is closed. Therefore, their Business is stopped and the people from that village are having life survival problem. They became jobless. But because of your help, they could have some rice and food to survive.
