Routine, routine, routine! Now is the time to review your childs oral health routine! Parents may think their kids are properly brushing and flossing before bed and they are either not doing it properly, doing it long enough or even at all! Before school starts ensure your children are brushing twice a day, flossing before bed and are brushing for 2 minutes each time.

Race adopted virtual format this year in response to pandemic and raised over $1200 for Terrace Search and Rescue! Great job!

Do your kids give you issues when they have to brush and floss before bed? We understand as we have heard this from many parents! One idea is to start an incentive-based system. Your child gets a reward each time they continue with their proper healthy dental routine. They put up a star sticker every night as they remember and at the end of the month get a surprise like a new book or something to do with their favourite activity.

Attention Horizon Dental patients! We would like to remind you that we would appreciate if you came to your appointment alone, unless you are accompanying an adult that needs assistance or your child. Please only bring ONE person to accompany someone who needs assistance/a child. If you are accompanying someone you will also have to pass COVID-19 screening.
