Happy Family Day!! We hope you get to enjoy the day with your favorite people and pets! Family Day was first observed in Alberta in 1990, followed by Saskatchewan in 2007 and Ontario in 2008. On May 28, 2012, the BC government announced that Family Day would be observed on the second Monday in February each year, the first Family Day stat holiday starting February 11, 2013. However you choose to spend BC’s 9th Family Day, stay safe, stay healthy and ENJOY!!

Christmas and the holidays are almost upon us once again. What a crazy ride this year has been! Although this year the holidays will look very different than many of us are used to, let us look for new ways we can still make it special. Reach out to a neighbour or friend who may be alone, make a phone call or leave some freshly baked treats on someone's doorstep. Many of us have different opinions on the Pandemic and the current state of our world but remember we truly are a...ll in this together. It is one big world and we are all getting through this the best we can. Remember to show compassion and kindness in your interactions, and do your part to help those around you.
