Anyone who has a case with any offense before the Alberta Courts, Traffic Court, Criminal & Drug charges, Bylaws etc... needs to check in with the court or their lawyer because if your case involves you being out of custody, rather than in custody awaiting your procedure, the courts are going to be adjourning your file automatically, which will affect the procedure in your matter significantly. However, traffic court does require you to take some action by e-mail or telephone so check on that. Otherwise you may be convicted in absence on your traffic ticket. Don't get caught by surprise.
