We will be looking for volunteers for this year to help us out at our horseback riding facility. If you have helped us in the past or need hours for school we would be more than happy to help you obtain them. We are asking all of our volunteers to be over the age of 15, can also be adults. In exchange for your volunteer hours you will receive free riding time. Two hours of work equals one hour of riding. We will be offering special training to all our volunteers next Saturday and Sunday at noon. Next weekend Feb 20 &. 21st. You will be taught to catch, tack up and ride a horse so that you will be able to help us out during the busy times. Please comment and I will contact you to provide you with further information. You must have a reliable ride to get to the farm in Port Burwell. Come on out and enjoy the ride at Darkin stables.

To all our lesson students and co-boarders; we will be able to offer co-boarding (leasing) at our facility. However, lessons and trails will be on hold until covid lock down is over. We will be aiming to be open for lessons and trail rides as of March 1

Thank you Michelle and Cindy for finding us some tires. And thank you to my daughter Kristie for supplying some wood. You guys are awesome. We are reaching out to the public for some help with new playground equipment for the farm. We are looking for old tires to use and scraps Of wood, posts, screws, anything you don’t need. Once we get everything we need and we can have people at the farm again we will be asking for some help to paint and build. So excited!!
