COVID-19 Update (03.22.20) Given the recent mandates from our government to reduce professional services to urgent care only, we would like to provide you with an update as to how this will affect our hospital. We want to ensure we do everything we can to keep our doctor & support staff safe & healthy so we can be available for pets in need. We also want to respect that they are continuing to work through this crisis and that they go home to loved ones at the end of their shi...ft. We also want to ensure the safety of you, our clients, your pets, and the community. - Our hospital will be open Monday through Friday from 8am until 5 pm. We will now be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Emergency services will be available as normal. - Our front door will be locked. Please call us at 306-773-7171 from the parking lot to alert our team that you are here. -One of our team members will come out to your vehicle to bring your pet into our hospital for their appointment while you wait in your car. Our veterinarian will call you on your phone to discuss your pet’s condition and recommendations. Exceptions may be made for any compassionate visits. - Please call ahead as we are accepting pre-orders and payment over the phone for food, prescriptions, and any over-the-counter products. We are limiting clients to one bag or case of food per pet at a time. Medications may be limited to a one-month supply to ensure that ALL our patients have access to needed food and medicine. For pickup, call the clinic from the parking lot upon arrival, and a member of our team will bring your order out. - We will not be accepting cash payments for the foreseeable future. We will only be accepting Visa and Mastercard, preferring contactless payments if possible. Debit payments will need to be arranged with a member of our team. - Please do not visit our hospital if you are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness (including cough, respiratory difficulty or fever). We want to continue to provide excellent care for your pets and in order to do so we need all our team members to stay healthy. If your pet is unwell or requires immediate attention, we ask that you have an alternate healthy person that brings them to the appointment. If you have travelled internationally or have been in contact with someone who has, we ask that you not visit the hospital as it is now law that you have to isolate for 14 days after returning from outside the country. Our waiting room will now be closed to the public so that we can prevent people from gathering in our reception area and exam rooms to comply with recommendations for social distancing. Thank you for your patience & cooperation. We will all get through this by working together. Dr. Rodney & The Staff at Horseshoe Vet Clinic
