The Horton Terry Fox Run is coming up soon! As a school, we are aiming high, and want to raise $1000 for the Terry Fox Foundation. This organization has done much for students past and present, families, and friends, as they journey through a cancer diagnosis. Only 4 days until the big show! Here's a little preview clip and a few teasers: Alfie is bringing a FULL band with him to Horton, in addition to Sylvio (his keyboardist); there will be some CLASSIC songs in the set list, some of which haven't been performed in years; at least 2 songs will include Horton Music students; CD's and DVD's will be sold that night and Alfie will be happy to sign whatever you purchase/bring, as well provide photo ops! In March, the Horton Griffins accomplished a very rare feat: winning provincial gold for both girls and boys in basketball. Today, lightning struck twice and our Griffins won provincial banners for both girls and boys rugby! This is the first provincial win in rugby for our boys and only the second win in Horton history for the girls. Well done, Griffins!
