It is with heavy hearts we announce on Joan and Todd’s behalf, the passing of a wonderful husband and admired father. Harvey Horwood’s battle with cancer ended... on August 30, 2020 surrounded at home by his loving and devoted wife, sons, and close family. In love of Harvey and support of his family, and in light of Covid-19 restrictions, we welcome our Horwood’s Home Care clients, employees, and supporters to take a moment of silence or send a prayer during the funeral on Thursday between 11:00am-1:00pm. Our offices will be closed during this time for the management team to attend a private conference of prayer together. Joan, Todd, and family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for all the acts of kindness they have received during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Harvey’s wishes and his passion for supporting local hockey, donations will be graciously received in support of the George Hawkins Memorial Arena in Twillingate.
