On our 6 month anniversary my loving dedicated loyal partner took me away on a beautiful romantic island trip! It was only 6 months into the relationship but I ...felt like I had known him my entire life. He would say that he has never felt this way before and we were soul mates. Everything felt amazing; great food, company, beautiful Airbnb and so much love, laughs and affection. What could possibly be wrong... right? Mean while... as I was getting ready for bed, excited to finish an amazing day of adventure and romantic dinner. My partner was texting his recent ex the whole time away. Text saying; I miss you’ I love you so much. Let’s make this work. I don’t wants us to be apart. He was pursuing and manipulating her whilst taking me away on a romantic couples getaway. I had no idea as he did not show any signs of unhappiness or communicate that there was anything wrong. Well I now understand... there was absolutely nothing wrong. This is how narcs function. He was a cheating, lying, narcissistic fraud. He was never going to be happy nor be a respectful truthful person. He could not respect himself or even identify that his behaviour and actions were hurtful. The only way I found out was his ex finally disclosed all of his texts, miss calls and voicemail to me. Narcs leave a rippling destructive damage as they pass through their supply. #narcissisticabuse #narcsupply #domesticviolence #emotionalabuse #cheating #lies #fraud #fakelove #lovebombing #manipulative #npd #survivor #psychologicalabuse #theredflagsdv

Last week we published the 2019-2020 Femicide Report, which analyzes all of the indicators that OAITH tracks and collects through media reports. This report bu...ilds on our Annual Femicide List and Media Analysis which is published each year in December. The report aims to expand knowledge of femicide tracking in Ontario, media analysis, and the realities faced by too many women (and children) who end up on our femicide list every year.
