We just received a donation of $3,000 on behalf of Jamie James who passed away on March 19th. Jamie passed away before his benefit was held and the family decided to donate the proceeds to Bobby's Hospice. Here is a little something the family had to say.. ... The activity committee at O'Leary Court Retirement Living Complex held a bake/craft auction. All items were donated from 38 apartment tenants and purchased by them as well. They raised a total of $1,125 for Bobby's Hospice! Thank you so much for being a Hospice Supporter!

This years Honorary Hospice Family for the Memorial Walk is the Price Family in honor of 47-year old Marilee Dawn Price who spent 15 days at Bobbys Hospice in the winter of 2020. Marilee was a music teacher in Saint John area schools and lived every day to the fullest. She loved her family, her many friends, her job and life in general. The employees at our local Bayshore Home Care Solutions company made payroll donations to Bobby’s Hospice for the past year. These donations were matched by the Bayshore Foundation and they sent us a cheque for $5,075 to help out with our increased costs due to COVID. With your support we are able to purchase needed personal protective equipment and supplies for our staff to keep everyone safe at Bobby’s Hospice during this pandemic. Thank you from the heart! Finally, the day came when the doctor told us it was time for Hospice. We believed Bobbys Hospice would be a comfortable place to die. When we entered those doors, they took our stress away. The unspoken question that inhabits the place is how can we serve you better? It was not just Marilee who moved to Hospice, but her family moved to Bobbys. Again, it was a whole team service. The nursing staff, volunteers, support staff and the physicians seem to be living out a special calling. They love what they do! They even organized the opportunity for her son to graduate from high school at her bedside. - We are forever thankful, Duncan and Logan Cunningham (Sons) and Marjorie and Dow Price (parents). Two groups of women, the Dalhousie Physiotherapy Class in 1975 and The BW7, 7 lifelong friends came together to celebrate the life and death of Ann Connolly in July 2020. In Annes memory, they made a donation of $1,660 to Bobbys Hospice to allow us to purchase two new wheelchairs and support our Music Therapy Program. Ann was full of life ,very active in her community, and had a spark that could light up a room when she entered. She is greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
