#Resiliency is one of the core qualities of well-being. It can be defined as the ability to adapt to change and keep going when things are difficult. This spring, we are offering a closed 8-week course on the fundamentals of mindfulness, self-compassion and loving-kindness practices for caregivers. Hosted virtually and includes short talks, guided meditation, reflections and small group discussions. Contact Sarah at (905)850 6266x213 or [email protected] for details.
Together with our dedicated staff, volunteers, supporters and community partners the dream of the first #palliative health care facility in #Vaughan is a reality. We are very excited to now be in our new home, #HospiceVaughan - Mario & Nick Cortellucci Hospice Palliative Care Centre of Excellence. Our community’s new state of the art #palliativecare hub located at 9383 Islington Avenue. We look forward to expanding our existing community programs & services while soon launch...ing the first 10 bed palliative health care hospice in our city. We wish to thank everyone who has been involved since our humble beginnings in 1995. Due to Covid-19 protocols and restrictions, all visits and meetings will continue to be by appointment only. As soon as it is safe, we will be able to see everyone face to face again. More details to follow regarding our Virtual Open House. See more
