The coldest day of the year brought out the warmest hearts. Today, on Grandma Seip's birthday, Jacob, Leah and some other family members visited the Hospice Wellington gazebo to celebrate their accomplishment of raising $10,120 in her honour. These funds will directly impact so many others with life-limiting illness, their families and those within our communities that require our programs and services. To show our thanks to the both of them, a plaque was donated by Scutt Sig...ns commemorating the accomplishment. Our Manager of Communications and Events, John is shown presenting the plaque to Jacob and Leah. We simply can't thank you exceptional kids enough. Thanksgiving Monday lunch was served with kindness and the help of volunteers David and Lillian Wilson, and Joan Knox our wonderful kitchen coordinator at Hospice Wellington. Delicious food was in abundance. Ensuring safety and physical distancing measures, a tasty lunch was served. The entire team at Hospice Wellington are truly honoured to be a part of this wonderful community who support us so well. Thank you all for your time and dedication.

Doreen visited hospice and presented us with this beautiful stained glass piece that she made in honour of her husband Don, who spent his last hours with us. It's such a beautiful memory of them both that will have a special place in our Residence. Hospice Wellington staff were honoured to recently care for Mary, a retired nurse. We came to hear the stories of her life, her love for her family and the outdoors. What a privilege it was for us to share such special days together. Thank you to all of Mary’s family for thinking of us. Our staff were so happy to see Mary’s husband, Jim and son David recently for a visit. They were so gracious in bringing along a box of delicious cookies from The Flour Co.
