There have been 167 new cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in Manitoba over the last two days, and with one case removed due to data correction, the total number of cases in the province is now 30,932. Of the new cases, 93 are in the Northern health region, 51 are in Winnipeg, 13 are in the Interlake-Eastern health region, eight are in the Southern Health region, and two are in the Prairie Mountain Health region. There have been four additional deaths due to the virus - all from Winnipeg. The deaths range in age from their 60s to their 90s. There have been 400 new cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in Manitoba since yesterday, and with one case being removed due to duplication, the total number of cases is now 12,007. Of the new cases, 239 are in the Winnipeg health region, 93 are in the Southern Health region, 40 are in the Northern health Region, 20 are in the Interlake-Eastern health region, and eight are in the Prairie Mountain Health region. There have been 11 additional deaths due to the virus - a woman in her ...50s from the Southern Health region; a man in his 60s from Winnipeg; two men in their 70s from the Interlake-Eastern health region; two men in their 80s from the Southern Health region; two men in their 80s linked to the outbreak at the Golden Links Lodge; a woman in her 80s from the Prairie Mountain Health Region; a man in his 90s from Winnipeg; and a woman in her 90s from Winnipeg linked to the outbreak at the Golden Links Lodge. The province is also adding a specific fine of $298 for not wearing a mask in an indoor public place as required under public health orders.
