The first of many dogs in towels pictures for the week!
A trio of troublemakers! This was the calmest they were for the whole walk, Summer was not impressed!
Even Tova’s fancy new jacket didn’t raise a smile from the Monday crew. Cheer up you lot, it’s looking like you got the only dry walk of the week!
Last but not least, the morning munchkins who were all very prepared for the weather!
The Friday crew wish you all a good quiet, lockdown weekend!
Welcome new boy Jett to the Wednesday crew! Being a 1 year old Border Collie this was about the only time he laid down! But he has very good manners and was schooled by Guinness and Mia in the ways of the pack. Little Tilly sulked because he’s too fast and ungainly and she had to keep getting out of the way! Thanks to Max’s amazing human for the referral.
Zoom! Nala finally beat Ruby into playing chase with her, that’s those two tired tonight!
The hikers were a happy bunch after dodging the worst of the rain and sampling some of the delicious treats made by Winston’s lovely humans.
The Thursday stooges, who were totally not enjoying the view and were begging for treats instead!
Playing hide and seek with the pack! Not only is this game fun but it also keeps the pack on their toes, and teaches them I’m unpredictable so need to be watched. Dogs that are watching me are quicker to respond to my commands and stay out of trouble. Riley (the big dog who keeps running past), hasn’t had the best listening lately but two games of this and he watched me closely for the rest of the hike. Then it becomes more of a game between us as I try and sneak off without him seeing. The others dogs are more blasé, Guinness just wants a ride home at some point and Ella is never far away. Jasper is usually keeping an eye on me anyway. Try it with your own dogs! People might think you’re strange as you laugh and run through the forest away from your dogs but who cares!
