The Discover Camping reservation service opens March 8, 2021, giving B.C. residents an opportunity to book a campsite two months in advance of their arrival date. People who live in the province will have priority access to campsite reservations throughout the summer. Despite all of the rain this weekend, the show & shine was quite busy in Centennial Park. Approximately 175 car, truck and bike owners braved the weather and registered their vehicles for 2019 HJN Show & Shine. Some of these picture are from the poker run and rod run but mostly the show & shine in Centennial Park 100 Mile House This year there seemed to be a little more diversity in the show which include a mini quarter mile racer, home made 4x4's, a few rat rods and VW Bugs.... Chris Adams from Country 840 MC'd the event this year and local bluegrass band Front Porch played a few sets of traditional bluegrass music mixed with some country favs. It was a bit of a blur at the end of the show getting the winners so hopefully we have them right. Huge shout out to the dedicated volunteers and sponsors that keep HJN's going every year. Plus, to the District of 100 Mile House Staff, 100 Mile Fire Rescue and the 100 Mile Lions club. RF/CR
