"The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
Stay aware of the little things. They are powerful. #hourofpowercanada
I continue to be inspired each week by the Hour of Power and have received much encouragement from Bobby’s messages, the music and interviews. I realize we are all doing church a little different these days, but the quality of the worship services has not suffered or declined whatsoever. As always, thank you for your dedicated work in continuing to bring this ministry of hope and faith to Canadian viewers. Thank you, John. #houropfpowercanada
May you take time on this Remembrance Day to be still and remember all the hard work and sacrifice that has paved the way for all of us. John McCrae wrote one of the most famous war poems in 1915, at a Canadian dressing station north of Ypres, Belgium, taking his view of the poppy-strewn battlefield as artistic inspiration: "In Flanders fields the poppies blow... Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead: Short days ago, We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved: and now we lie In Flanders fields! Take up our quarrel with the foe To you, from failing hands, we throw The torch: be yours to hold it high If ye break faith with us who die, We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields." #remembranceday #lestweforget
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrownot even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth belowindeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
