Thanks everybody for the patience over the last week. We've had to adjust to a lot of changes and you've all been wonderful and kind. It's been quite a challenge for all of us but we are looking forward to seeing all of you in person soon. I'd also like to take this opportunity to welcome and thank our new Master Stylist Denene for not only bringing all her experience to the salon, but also for all her hard work so far. It's been a wild time to join the team but we appreciate you and can't wait to see where we can take things! And Sue, you have been a rock among all this craziness and I am so thankful for you!

Tomorrow is our opening day! We are doing our best to get everyone in as fast as we can, we appreciate your business and your patience! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

YES WE ARE OPENING! June 5th! BUT, I have a list of clients that are already on the schedule for Friday and Saturday for some of my weekly regulars. I will be calling clients to reschedule their missed appointments the first of next week. Please be patient. Sue and I will be keeping our regular hours with some exceptions, so we don’t burn out quickly. ... These are the mandatory protocols from the Cosmetology Association that everyone must follow: Everyone must wear a mask in the shop. We will have to extensively clean after each client before we can let the next client in. So you will be notified through a phone call when you can come into the shop so please stay in your car or practice social distancing while waiting. This will also limit the number of clients we can take in a day, as cleaning requirements take time. We are limited to one client each at a time. No additional customers will be let in the shop. The doors will be locked and you must knock. No drinks or food allowed (as it the mask prevents that) I will be selling retail, however, it must be covered to avoid additional cleaning Sorry for the inconvenience, however this is how I must operate in order to open. I will be following all the standards and protocols until further notice. I appreciate all the phone calls and messages that I have received, and I cannot wait to welcome you back into my shop and life!

Hope you are well. I have been told we can prepare to open, however we are in the early stages. Please stay tuned. Unfortunately, Anne will not be returning to House of Hair Design due to family commitments when we do reopen. Due to safety requirements and protocols I will have to temporarily raise the prices (in addition to the April 1 changes) and wait times will increase for appointments as we are limited in staffing and can only have 2 customers in the shop at a time. ... I hope you all understand that I am VERY eager to return to work, however I have to do it safely for Sue and I as well as you, my wonderful, patient clients. Hope to see you soon, Darlene
