An inside look on the future of our restaurant!

Thank you. It is with bittersweet excitement that we announce the closure of House Special at the end of June. We're making way for our sister restaurant, Do Chay, to open up in our space in Yaletown. We've been so lucky to call Yaletown home and to get to know you all in the process. Thank you so much for dining with us these past four years. House Special may be closing its doors, but our team isn't going anywhere. We'll be here and are excited to show you what we'v...e been working on at Do Chay. Since opening House Special, our Vegan Pho and meatless offerings were of great importance to us. The constraints of not using meat allowed us to be more creative and innovative in finding ways to make good food without the usual suspects. We've taken that idea and ran with it at Do Chay. You'll see some of your House Special favourites on the menu and hopefully find some new favourites also. Look out for Do Chay opening at 1269 Hamilton Street in early July.
