It’s a beautiful day and I hear the BBQ calling... what are you going to make? We got sausage, patties, and of course our delicious steak! Stop on by to get the goods!

Sharing something good I read earlier ... BBQ RULES: We are about to enter the BBQ season. Therefore, it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity. When a man volunteers to BBQ, the following chain of events are put into motion:... (1) The woman buys the food. (2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert. (3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand. (4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three meter exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman. Here comes the important part: (5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL. (6) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery. (7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he flips the meat Important again: (8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN. (9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table. (10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes And most important of all: (11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts. (12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed ' her night off ', and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women. The last calf of 2020 was born Monday night - here he is, nice and fresh! A handsome little steer - meet Avin! Stop by anytime for our self serve pumpkins, corn stalks & bales (more bales will come later this aft), or the eggs & freezer items. Ally is so excited to check her pumpkin bucket when she gets off the bus every day!

Ally and Jacob have decor for sale again Stop on by anytime! (Prices in 4th picture.)... A portion of sales will again go to charity - last year, we filled 4 Operation Christmas Child boxes, plus 4 chickens, a goat, seeds & agricultural tools through Samaritan’s Purse

Loaded up the wagon with apples and my sampler says they’re tasty ... off to deliver the goods to the cows!

The sun is shining and it’s a beautiful day .. and we’re all stocked up for your weekend ... come on out! Fresh cut sunflowers ($1.00/stem), Fresh brown eggs ($4.00/dozen), And lots of beef!

The season for dropped apples has begun ... which means the chore of picking them up has too! Since big sis is working in the field, that means Mommy & Jacob had to work - Jacob sampled every apple that went in of course! The animals LOVE them though - now to divide the spoils between the cows , goat & pigs !
