The nets are back on 4 courts :) Please keep in mind that there will be no club operation. Clubhouse will remain closed. Our courts will become public courts and non-members will have access to them. No lights either :( But we are checking with the city if they can do something about it. Have fun and be safe!
Hi Everyone, Just a reminder that today is the last day the club is open. If you have stuff in your lockers please ensure to clear them out. We plan to take down the nets tomorrow. This past Wednesday we held a very successful AGM with over 115 members and conducted official business for the first time in an exceptionally long time. We would like to thank the outgoing board for their contributions over the years and welcome the new board for the 2021 season.... We are still waiting to hear about any updates to winter socials. Stay warm and healthy this winter, and we will be in touch soon.
Dear Members: As you know, the provincial government has implemented new emergency restrictions that take effect in Toronto today to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Tennis activities can continue, however, the club received a communication from the City of Toronto that requires changes to our change room access at Howard Park. Please note that effective Saturday, October 10, there will be:... No access to change rooms unless for the use of washrooms, storage and first-aid purposes We will provide further updates as they become available to us. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
We have been contacted today by the City property supervisor David Groisbeck regarding the light repair on courts 1,2,3 and 7. The supervisor was concerned with driving their 15000 kg truck onto the courts. They are deferring this work until the winter when the ground is frozen. They will then replace all of the bulbs. With only weeks left in the season, I think this is the most prudent decision. Thanks for your understanding

Update about some facility improvements. The city is coming in to do work on the lights and overgrown trees. Courts 1,3,7 will be closed Monday night and courts 1,2,3 will be closed for most of Tuesday. Will be sending an email shortly. Thanks for your patience.

Just another reminder that there is no Town Hall tonight. We are reaching out with an update about our upcoming Town Hall. The board hoped to have an in-person discussion with members who were interested in joining the conversation. Arrangements for the Town Hall were in line with Toronto Public Health recommendations. However, we received some feedback from members not comfortable with attending an in-person gathering. In light of this, the Town Hall will be held online. We will be in touch with a new date and session details. We'd like to be sure we provide sufficient time for members to register, in order to ensure we have sufficient online facilities in place for the session, and that members have the opportunity to provide their questions in advance. We will reach out with details soon.

The trees and debris on courts 1 & 2 have been removed . Thanks for your patience.
Hi All, if you have been to the club recently you may have noticed that Court 1 & 2 are inoperable as a result of lightening striking a tree. A few days ago we reached out to the city to have them come remove the hazard but there is a backlog and they cannot guarantee when this will be completed. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please note that it make affect lesson scheduling and look out for an email from us when we know more.
