Hi everyone! We will be at the Owen Sound Farmers Market tomorrow with lots of fresh Salmon and Rainbow. We will also be bringing smoked fish. Secondly, If you are going to visit us at the shop or the market, please wear a mask. At the store there is a zero tolerance policy. No mask - no entry. Not up for debate. Have a nice day everyone:)

Hello Fish Friends! I will start with posting our holiday hours: Wednesday December 23rd - closed ... Thursday December 24th - closed Friday December 25th -closed Saturday December 26th - closed Sunday December 27th - closed We will otherwise be open from 9-5:30. Our Salmon and Sea Scallop order is here and the Rainbow Trout will be arriving around noon! We recommend that if you would like something for the holidays to come and get it sooner rather than later and freeze it for your special occasion! We will be smoking Salmon on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week as well. Just a friendly reminder we work on a first come, first served basis - we don’t take orders or hold product! Hi fish friends! We will be attending the Owen Sound Farmers' Market tomorrow with fresh Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Lake Trout. We will also have SMOKED FISH and some frozen Whitefish. Just a reminder that the food portion of the market runs from 8-11:30 am. See you there for some delicious meat without feet!

Hi fish friends. The fresh Salmon and sea scallops have arrived! The smoked Salmon will be ready tomorrow at 3:30. We have a lot of fresh fish ready to go today as well! Whitefish, Laketrout, Rainbow Trout, Salmon, and Sea scallops. We also have smoked Laketrout and even more coming out of the smoker at 3:30 today.

Hi fish friends! We figured out our fishuation. The Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and sea Scallops will be arriving Thursday or Friday this week! We will let you know when we have some ready to go. The smoked Salmon should be ready to go by 3:00pm on Saturday, December 12th. Thanks again for your patience!

Hey folks! Our debit machine is now fixed, so we encourage you to pay with debit tap as much as possible! Please note that we do not currently accept credit cards!

Hello Fish Friends! We've been receiving a lot of phone calls inquiring about our hours and how we are processing sales. We are open seven days a week 9-5:30, including all holidays! We do not take orders and we operate strictly on a first come, first served basis. Ongoing from today (May 21st) until further notice we are CASH ONLY due to a debit machine malfunction. We will let you know as soon as we are able to process debit payment! ETA- OUR DEBIT MACHINE IS NOW FIXED! HOO...RAY! When you come to purchase your fish, we ask that you limit the number of people from your household to ONE PERSON We also ask that you allow any other customer to exit the shop and to give us a few moments to clean and wash our hands. Please, only ONE PERSON in the shop at any given time - no exceptions except for childcare emergencies. Additionally, we encourage the proper use of face masks (including those made from fabric) when coming to purchase your fish as recommended by both the Federal and Provincial Government. Please make every effort to follow this guideline, and to read up on how to properly don and remove your mask to avoid cross contamination. We currently have all kinds of fish coming in and we are smoking fish regularly. We are so lucky to still be open and to serve you all delicious meat without feet! Come by and grab some to enjoy this beautiful weather we're enjoying! Thank you again for our continued support of our small business and other local businesses: it is so appreciated!

Hi fish friends! We're sorry to report that we will not have any scallops this week (May 13th-20th). There has been a supply line interruption somewhere between here and Maine. With luck, we should see some in next week. Thanks for your understanding!

At this point in time, the only location to purchase fish is at the shop in Wiarton. ... We are continuing to sanitize between customers, but ask that you practice social distancing if you come to the shop. Please wait in your vehicle until the previous customer has finished their purchase and we have sanitized surfaces. Please only send one person from your group into the building to make your purchase. Please use debit tap as much as possible when paying for your fish. Also, we encourage you to continue to stay home and physically isolate yourselves as much as possible. This is so, so important. Hello Fish Friends! We want to thank everyone for their continued support of our business and other local businesses during this strange and singular time. It is so important and so appreciated! ... We are still open 7 days a week from 9 to 5:30. We are not offering delivery or curbside pickup at this point, and we are not taking any type of order. We are still operating on a first come, first served basis (our standard at all times). We are still asking our customers to observe social distancing: this means that only ONE PERSON from your family should be coming into our shop at a time. Please, please respect this rule - it’s for our safety as well as yours! We will be enforcing this strictly going forward. We continue to disinfect all areas between customers and ask that you pay with debit tap as much as possible. We are working hard to get in local product regularly, but we cannot predict when or if fish will be caught or how much, so we continue to encourage you to call us to find out what we have on hand. If we miss your call we do apologize and we encourage you to call back again a little later! We are working with a reduced number of employees to keep our staff safe and healthy. We do have a schedule for our Rainbow Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Perch, Pickerel, & Sea Scallops: they are available from Wednesday onward until we sell out. Hello Fish Friends! We want to thank everyone for their continued support as we navigate this new normal. Thank you for staying home and practicing social distancing! Thank you for supporting small businesses! Thank you for washing your hands! ... Following provincial guidelines, we are still OPEN daily from 9:00am to 5:30pm. This week, that includes Good Friday. Our Fisherfolk are still fishing and we are still receiving our weekly order of Sea Scallops, Atlantic Salmon, and fish from Lake Erie. We have all of your favourite meat without feet! As always, we do not take special orders for fish and continue to operate on a first come, first served basis. We thank you for your patience as we try to meet demand, and we apologize that we sometimes miss your call: we only have one staff member working in the shop at a time. We continue to ask that you only send one person into the shop to get fish, and that you adhere to social distancing practices and allow the customer before you to exit the building before entering. We continue to sanitize surfaces between each customer. We know this Holiday weekend will be much different than those in the past, but we want to wish everyone a joyful celebration! Hi Fish Friends! As of now, we remain open with all kinds of fresh fish for your meat without feet needs! The counter is currently full of fresh and delicious product! We’ve stepped up our sanitizing process and are making sure that all door handles, the debit machine, and counter surfaces are cleaned between customers on top of our regular cleaning regime. ... We do encourage you to consider paying strictly with tap, and purchasing your favourite fish for the freezer in case the recommendation for every non-essential business to close is given. We are following the news and ever-changing recommendations closely, and will update you when and if we decide to close. We encourage everyone to continue practicing social distancing and to physically isolate yourself as much as possible. Please leave lots of space between yourself and others! Hello fish friends. The Grey Bruce Health Board has cancelled the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market for tomorrow, March 14th. As of now, tomorrow is the only market that is cancelled but we will keep you updated. Sorry for the inconvenience!
