Thank you to everyone who pitched into help have the old rail bed graded from Deer Lake to Kitty's Brook. Along with a little donation from the contractor we were able to raise enough to get it all completed as planned.

Along with other contributions via email, people dropping money at Howley Shopping Center as well as business contributions from Howley Tourist Lodge, Trapper's... Lounge, Howley RV and Howley Shopping Center we have $8500 committed to the rail bed grading. I will be talking to a couple possible contributors in the coming days to hopefully get enough to complete the entire 45kms. In the mean time I'll be contacting the lowest bidding contractor today to ask them to start as soon as possible.
