Kicking off in March 2021 at some of our branches, including the Musquodoboit Valley Library Office, the Ready-to-Go Art Studio program is a take-home art kit for adults, teens, and families, intended to empower, celebrate, and inspire art. In celebration of African Heritage Month and beyond at Halifax Public Libraries, this month's Ready-to-Go Art Studio theme is Black Women in Leadership. The kit features a work of art that highlights the achievements, struggles, and power of Black women in leadership. The kit includes a pre-stencilled canvas, acrylic paint, paintbrushes; a step-by-step instruction sheet; and an educational introduction to the kit's theme. To learn more about the program or how to register please visit the link below. https://www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca//ready-to-go-art-s/
