For the second week in our 50 Seeds of Kindness Campaign, we were looking to collect 50 items to donate to the @bcspca. Our amazing lawyers and staff collected way more than 50 items for the animals and staff and we were super excited to deliver everything to the North Cariboo District Branch today!

50 years ago on April 1st, Robin Heather, Murray Sadler and David Jenkins founded Heather Sadler Jenkins. Since then numerous lawyers, articling students, legal assistants and administrative assistants have passed through the doors and contributed to HSJ’s success. We are very excited to be able to celebrate the firm’s 50th anniversary and to celebrate this amazing milestone, the firm's Social, Health and Wellness Committee has planned a 50 Seeds of Kindness campaign. Today we delivered 50+ Easter greeting with a small (and COVID safe) bag of Easter chocolates to residents of the Birchview Residences, Two Rivers Seniors Lodge Ltd. and Rainbow Lodge Care Home.

The Movember campaign provides funds to help with men's health initiatives, including mental health awareness, cancer research, physician training, and counsell...ing services. HSJ's Kris Henderson has been sporting a new mustache around the office this month to fundraise for the Movember campaign in support of a family member who has been diagnosed and treated with a men's cancer this year. While the new 'stache may be a look to get used to, HSJ is proud to support Movember and to support Kris Henderson's fundraising initiatives.
