http://www.architectureartdesigns.com/17-eye-catching-ceil/ It has come up recently to spruce up some dining room ceilings and I found this post from a few years ago. H & S Jones has done everything from coffered and LED recessed to wooden beams to egg-shaped vaults.... There's even more under Ceilings and Bulkheads on Pintrest.ca. Have a look!

Different people have different ideas on what a beautiful, well-designed home should look and feel like. Some people tell us to make things cozy. They like efficient, warm spaces and changes in the sight lines, so closets are out of the way and rooms are around corners in the hallway. They describe things as the second door on your left, or down at the end. As guests move through your home, there’s more and more to see. Others want to experience how big a room can be. The...y like to see the kitchen and dining room from their great room, and like a soaring ceiling that’s sometimes vaulted. Those people will often only have a master suite on one floor, with guest and family bedrooms above or below. Since we build custom homes, you are the person who directs us. We have previous prints and designs but folks nowadays look on Pinterest or Houzz or even just google to get a feel for the layouts and floor plans they want. From small and affordable to everything you could want, your imagination is where we start.

Carpet versus hardwood: some people like the quiet and warm feel of carpet, plus how it can be a cost effective choice. Others like the durability of hard surfaces, from top of the line porcelain tile to attractive vinyl plank. Hard surfaces are easier to keep clean, plus you can get nice area rugs for different rooms that match your furnishings in stylish ways. Which would you choose for your new home?
