L’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls Hospital (HSRFH) is located in a rural community of Northern Ontario, and serves a predominantly French-speaking population. HSRFH is accredited, with a total of thirtyseven (37) beds, and offers primary and secondary care which includes: long-term care, palliative care, as well as other various health promotion services. Position Sum...mary: Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be a compassionate, collaborative and purpose-driven leader who will provide direction, and effectively establish strong working relationships with the employees, medical staff, partner organizations, and the community of Smooth Rock Falls. The CEO will assume responsibility for the overall strategic and operational planning of the hospital. The CEO will have a broad understanding of healthcare, and considerable knowledge of small rural hospital settings. The CEO must communicate effectively in both French and in English as HSRFH is designated under the French Language Services Act. Qualifications: A minimum five years of leadership experience is preferred. An advanced degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Administration, Management or Business Administration. Experience working with legislation and in a regulated environment. A commitment to workplace diversity and change management. A genuine interest in living and working in the community of Smooth Rock Falls. Exceptional communication skills in both French and English.
