Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy! UTSC Blood Team is participating in a national campaign - 1000 Donors from Canadian Blood Servic...es! The objective is to address the need for blood and stem cells during the COVID-19 pandemic, unite our community and provide clarification on the donor eligibility during this pandemic. The campaign will be releasing infographics and a video featuring a wholesome collage to celebrate our community's participation in this initiative. Start by filling out the form at http://bit.ly/1000Donors. For those who recently donated or planning to be a donor (blood and/or stem cell), we want you to take a picture holding a sign with our slogan: If you can't be on the front lines, join Canada’s lifeline.’’ We understand that there are reasons why some people cannot donate blood and/or stem cells. We still encourage and invite you to participate. Use social media, share the message and tag your family members and friends. Spread awareness of our campaign! --- * Here are the instructions: 1. Finish filling out this form, even if you cannot donate blood and/or stem cells - http://bit.ly/1000Donors 2. If possible, book a blood donation appointment, sign up to be a future blood donor, and/or sign up to a stem cell donor 3. Take a screenshot, photo, video or even a group zoom call photo.
