Meet Kenny Pothier, founder and owner of Highland Shoe and Watch Repair. Born and raised in Pictou County, Kenny has been in the shoe repair business for over ...30 years. From Moneysworth and Best, to Mr. Minit Shoe Repair, and then using his experience and knowledge to open his own shop at Highland Square where you can find him today, 6 days a week. His every day work consists of fixing shoe soles, heels, watch faces, batteries, stems and straps, leather handbags, jackets and more. People who have come to know Kenny know he loves a good challenge, so if an item outside of his wheelhouse is brought to his store he will see if his glue will stick. If not, will help direct them where to go. Helping people is just my kind of business. A few of the most common types of shoes he sees come in are Blundstones and Birkenstocks. These also happen to be some of his favorite jobs because they come in so well-loved.
