Holy Trinity Riverbend 07.11.2020

Through this mornings parable we read in Sunday School, we heard an invitation from Jesus to shine with God’s light and love in the world. We talked about what it means to shine with God’s love, and what ways we can shine God’s light into the world. The oil lamps the bridesmaids carried remind us to let God’s light shine through us. Today we made our own clay lamps using modelling clay and tea lights. If you’d like to make your own you need: ... - Modelling clay (dollarama has lots) - Battery operated tea lights 1. Roll your dough into a ball 2. Press with a finger to form a cavity 3. Pinch one end together to make a spout. 4. Press the tea light into the cavity of your lamp. 5. Set your lamps somewhere where the light can be a reminder to let God’s light shine through your actions. If you made a lamp, share below!

Good morning everyone, It is with a deep sense of sadness that I share the attached letter from our Bishop. Her news may come as a surprise to some of you, and for that I am sorry. The timing certainly isn’t the best, considering our continued struggles to operate within Covid 19 guidelines. I met with the real estate agents who are looking after the sale of our property and they are actively searching for a new location for us. As I find out more news, I will share it wit...Continue reading
