Another day, another presentation to a Sail NS Award winner. This time to a very deserving Maria Fitzgerald who is a Shooting Star when it comes to sailing at the Hubbards Sailing Club! Congratulations Maria.

Fall HSC Swag Sale!!!! Since we were unable to plan and order HSC clothing this summer due to all the unknowns attached to the pandemic, we have chosen to have a fall swag sale. Hoodies, long sleeve shirts, visors, and stickers along with the puzzles, playing cards, and burgees left from our spring fundraiser will be available. We will be set up at the clubhouse this Saturday, November 21st between 10am and 2pm. Come check it out. *Masks will be required.... In anticipation of Christmas, these can make for great presents. Don’t wait as there are limited quantities. Cash, cheque, credit card, or E-transfer will be accepted as payment. It's hard to believe, but July 18th would have been our annual BBQ and auction. We will miss seeing all of you so much this year - but don't worry! We are already booked in for 2021! The auction has always been a major part in keeping our sailing programs accessible to as many youth as possible in our community. Calling all virtual sailors! We are gearing up for this Friday night's event - Series 2 of HSC's InShore Classic sponsored by Thompson's Moving Group Ltd. Get yourselves registered asap as spaces are limited.

Restrictions have loosened and we can increase the capacity of our summer program!

HSC InShore Classic sponsored by Thompson's Moving Group Ltd Series 2 will be hosted Friday, June 26th at 6:30 pm. There is a $10 registration fee which can be e-transferred to [email protected]. This fee helps to boost the prizes which are delivered to winners contact free. There is a maximum of 20 spots. Spots will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Registrations are confirmed when the registration fee has been successfully transferred.... The format will be as follows: - Fleet racing, maximum of 20 boats - 5 races, we will aim to finish the last race around 7:30pm - The event will take place in the Star class - There will be 1 drop (this is to account for lag or glitches) - The event will be scored using standard scoring (low points system) https://forms.gle/ijjCuSYJxFbKhTiE8

There will be sailing at HSC this summer! Our boats are coming out of storage as we speak and the details on the necessary COVID-19 changes to our program will be released this week.
