Spring has sprung and We’re happy to be back into the swing of things. As most of Nova Scotia slowly reopens, we’ve already been busy serving all of our customers, big and small. Our hearts are with all of the families, our friends, our customers, and our community as we mourn the losses. We have all lost so many amazing people to such a senseless act. Our office remains closed during these trying times, but we are still working hard to safely serve you. We are answering the phone and email inquiries as quickly as we can (with a smaller staff). We are still able to provide estimates, and remain readily available to service any well / pump issues. Today we are moving some equipment around for some spring cleaning and maintenance.

Today’s well site was a very close and significant location to Hub Well Drilling, and the Johnson family. It is the old homestead where Oran Johnson (1st generation driller) operated the business and raised his family, including Ivan (2nd generation driller). As the 4th generation to operate the business, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to capture a few shots of our trucks in the same place where my forefathers had stood proudly with their new equipment, in the late 40’s or early 50’s. Unfortunately a fire has claimed the home and it is set to be demolished to make way for a new home, which needs an updated water supply.
