My sweet SIL @rseryn has never missed Christmas photos with me. We rearranged her living room, created the cutest Christmas corner together, and stood on our heads to make these goofballs laugh. We filled our hearts with some much needed Christmas cheer. Happiest of holidays to all of you.

I’ve been meaning to post this session for a month. Life got away on me. I hope you are well my friends. And I hope this sweet boy brings a smile to your face.

Family sessions with lots of snuggles and lots of play are the way to go.

Their birthday gift to their mother was a session from me to record all their love in one frame. Gamma is happy!

I hope today is the final day of digging my home out of drifts from the four-day snow/wind storm we just experienced. Man, that was a harsh intro to winter! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many stuck vehicles before. Missing nice Fall because mean Fall just plain sucks.

That just-got-engaged glow .

Since it’s absolutely howling wind here today, I thought I’d share this surprise engagement that happened at the beginning of one of my family sessions this fall. The wind was as bad as it is today, scarves and hair were flying everywhere, but the love and joy made this wild love story sing. This is what love looks like during harvest in southern Alberta farm country.
