HUG Factory 15.05.2021

Cleaning files off the laptop I am reminded of many moments at the HUG Factory. Thanks to everyone who dropped by and made that corner of St. George a special gathering place.

HUG Factory 11.05.2021

Hey friends... I'll host one more dinner party Friday Dec. 16th.... before moving out at Christmas! There is a bunch of food we can prepare here to eat, making it less for me to pack up. You could bring veggies, treats or beer to share. I've got lots of meat to cook up and rice, humus... we'll make a big meal. 6PM.... WE'LL LOVE TO HAVE YOUR COMPANY TO PREPARE DINNER SO WE KNOW HOW MUCH TO MAKE, and just have some time to hang out(as I will be away in Cuba the next couple mo...nths). I also have a bunch of random clothing(all sizes, and different styles such as ladies vintage, etc), food and other items that need to be given away... so please go home with gifts! Our buddy Friendship from Boston is playing at Plan B... so we'll head there after to feel the funk!

Tonight I'm hosting another Circle of Pure Intent here at the HUG Factory, and it's focused on personal and community planning. It's open to anyone who wants to take part in a community group for the purpose of growing together. It's about getting clear on our personal life path, realizing how our talents and passions can merge with others, so that together we can all live with more joy, creativity and abundance through sharing. Over the winter, these bi-weekly circle gatheri...ngs will be in different locations, and everything will be determined by those who attend. We can watch films projected and have a chat about the content, plan go to the ski hill or a cottage for a field trip... it's really just a show and tell to expand awareness and a chance to hang out with different people and learn new skills. Anyone in the group can plan an event or project, and we'll all support it as we are able. Feel free to join us for potluck tonight at 7pm.... 190 St. George, Moncton. Bring a friend. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1688857671432785/

HUG Factory 17.04.2021

Hey friends... as a way to create more face to face and heart to heart connection... and collective consciousness within a neighbourhood to create real community, this Wednesday I will start hosting bi-weekly circles at the HUG Factory. We'll start with a meal, and maybe watch a film, or just sit in a circle and share whatever is inspiring you currently. Have you read a book or watched a video that you'd like to talk about with others? Are there struggles in your life or proj...ects you'd like help with? There is no agenda other than to network and grow together. Everyday while I work sewing, I am getting an education listening to podcasts and youtube. I'd like this group to be a place to share the best of what I learn, and to share these sources with you, so we all can enjoy them in our own time, then bring reflections to circle. And we can all add to this group in this way, to share and get feedback, both online and in person. I find that when I write thoughts on facebook that are profound or important, often there isn't much response, so I'd rather have a time every couple weeks to gather with others to share ideas. Last week, I was listening Tony Robbins and this tip on how to speak and mirror actions to build rapport was interesting... it starts in the middle of the video at the point he is making: https://youtu.be/MVNQp1FWsqQ?t=36m4s Tony has a doc on Netflix that I'd like to see called "I am Not your Guru." I listened to a lot of Tony's work while I was in high school, but have not seen this new doc, so I am curious to see it. Have any of you? I don't have Netflix... but if one of you who do want to come this Wednesday... I'll make pancakes for everyone using some of that coconut flour I got a ton of(and you can take some home too), and we can eat and watch Tony's film, then have a circle to chat about it. Pancakes and a movie.... 7pm! Who has Netflix and can make it? https://www.facebook.com/groups/1688857671432785/
