Good afternoon Hullett families, This week, Hullett Central Public School officially begins distance learning as we take our initial steps into a very different educational format. First and foremost, I want you to know that the staff and I miss every student in the Hullett community. We look forward to reconnecting with all of our families, distantly for now, but we hope in-person sooner rather than later. Throughout the days and weeks ahead, students and parents can expec...t to hear from classroom teachers by email and other forms of electronic contact. Over the past couple of weeks, teachers have been reaching out to send greetings, connect with families and give instructions on how to access online learning platforms. The initial stages of distance learning are a straightforward and planned approach to curriculum delivery that may increase over time. Our aim this week is to get families connected and provide students with educational activities that support learning from home. The materials sent to you by staff are not meant to overwhelm our families. We understand that these are stressful times for everyone. You can only do what you can do with the time and energy that you have on a given day. The staff and I will do what we can to support our students from a distance.
