It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Humbercrest PS alumnus, Norman Baker. Mr. Baker was a special guest at our Centennial celebration, being interviewed by Mary Ito and lending his WWII treasures for our displays. He also participated in our Remembrance Day Ceremonies and visited the Grade 5 classes to tell them about his war experiences. Once again, the students and staff at Humbercrest PS put on a very moving Remembrance Day ceremony including chamber strings, a choir, poems and family memories. If you are or know a former Humbercrest student and veteran, and wish to share your memories, please message us. We hope to compile these in an album for future generations.
