(Reading's corner) Speed On the mats do your movements only as quickly as you can do them in a relaxed state. There is rarely a need to rush. Speed will come with proficiency, not anxiousness. If you train at a faster speed than is appropriate for you - you are like a skier who is racing down a hill too steep for his ability - an accident waiting to happen. Training too fast also reinforces mistakes which would be corrected at a slower pace. Speed will come with time and careful repetition of techniques. Take it easy and be precise. In this way you will learn well.

(Reading's corner) The Four Levels of KI Development The first level of KI development is KIAI.... KIAI to most martial artist is a yell when performing a dynamic technique. But KIAI is more than that. In martial training, when we have reached a level of complete harmony between our energy and our body, strong KI can be expressed with a yell. A simple yell without KI has no meaning and no strength, and usually its sound will disappear quickly. However, a yell with KI can resonate like thunder, echo in a building, and shake a wooden structure. KIAI literally means to join with KI. KIAI can be seen in technique that is clean, sharp, and graceful. See more

Hypnotic rhythm by Johnny Eastwell Programs Orientation Instructor There are two types of people drifters and non drifters, there are also two types of energy positive and negative. Negative energy occupies empty space and positive energy occupies space that which it is focused upon. ... Drifting takes away a persons ability to think for them self through hypnotic rhythm which is the pertinacity of habit and addiction. Normally the only way to break this spell is by hitting rock bottom, because one must die before the other is born. One being your fear based self and the other being your faith based self. Do your actions come from the fear that you must accomplish that which your desire or else... you will fail, or do your actions come from the faith that you will accomplish your desire because that is the only possible outcome. Faith back by desire know no such word as impossible. The steps to avoid becoming a drifter and maintaining focus are defiance of propose, mastery of self, learning from adversely, control over environment / associations, time which gives permanence to to good habits, and the develop of wisdom, harmony in acting with defiant of purpose to become the dominating influence in your environment, and caution of thinking through your actions before you act. Sin is anything that one does or things that causes one to be unhappy, people that are in a sound physical and emotional state should be at peace with them self and always happy. Any form of mental or physical misery indicates the presence of sin. These are the sins that lead to drifting. It is a sin to over eat because that leads to ill health and misery. It is a sin to over indulge in sex because that breaks down ones will power and leads to drifting. It is a sin to permit your mind to be dominated by negative thoughts of envy, greed, fear, hatred, intolerance, vanity, self pity or discouragement. Because they are stats of mind that lead to the habit of drifting. It is a sin to cheat, lie, and steal, because these habits destroy self respect and subdue ones conscious and lead to unhappiness. It is a sin to remain in ignorance because that leads to poverty and loss of self reliance. It is a sin to except from life anything one does not want because that indicates an unpardonable neglect to use the mind. It is a sin to drift through life with out a definite aim, plan, or purpose, because it leads to poverty and destroys the privilege of the self determination of using ones mind as a medium to contact infinite intelligence.
