Although, my husband is 5 years younger than me...I now feel, without his usual beard, that I may be doing something illegal . Make time today to VOTE! It's SO important to exercise you RIGHT to VOTE. I've never been one to follow politics and honestly, I haven't cared much until the past few years since having my boys. I started seeing how much politics affect the world that my boys are growing up in and what the future may hold for them. I'd be lying if I said that I haven't voted in the past cause I felt like my vote was worthless cause I was was uneducated about the parties and didn't tak...e time to learn about it, so what was the point in my voting blindly? Since becoming more aware, what realized is that you don't have to be a die hard to learn about the parties and what their agendas are. You don't have to spend hours reading, going to rallies, watching every single debate to feel informed. Just take a few minutes out of your day and browse each parties platform and that will give you an idea of their values align with yours. IT'S NOT TOO LATE!! you can do that today on your coffee break! Something else I found helpful was taking a quiz online. It asks you multiple choice questions about a wide variety of values, concerns and policies etc then gives you a percentage of each party and which suits you best. A little off topic but I wanted to share. Sunday and Monday I took each of my boys on a mom-son date. It can be hard to remember to stop and take time for those special, simple things that make all the difference. Seeing them light up in ways they only do when they get that individualized time is worth every second that Id most likely spend banging my head against the wall trying to cram everything into life anyway. #adultingsucks Big shout out to @marsminigolf If you h...avent been there go check it out.
