As it was just announced, dentists fall into the phase 1 category with a reopen date of may 4th. There will need to be a response from the dental regulatory bodies as well as the SHA on guidelines, and as such the guidelines they have in place for us will remain in effect until further notice. We will not be scheduling any treatments at this time and all treatments do remain cancelled until we can implement these upcoming regulations.... We are still open for emergency visits only. Please call our office if a dental emergency exists.

In response to the current COVID-19 situation, we want to update our patients regarding the dental convention in Vancouver. Drs. Sun and Dhir were amongst the 1000s of attendees at the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver that has received much attention due to one of the attendees being tested positive for COVID-19. Drs. Sun and Dhir proactively initiated self-isolation as soon as the news was confirmed on Wednesday, March 11. At that time, the Vancouver Healthy Authority ...did not advise self-isolation. Drs. Sun and Dhir did not have any known direct contact with the positive individual. They did not, and continue not to, exhibit any clinical signs. They were both tested for COVID-19 as a safety precaution last Thursday, March 12, and we are glad to let you all know, the results are negative. We are thankful for your consideration/ support and we look forward to seeing all of you as time allows. Please be safe, practice social distancing, follow the recommendations from our health authorities, and when possible, help anyone in need. Thank you. See more
