It’s true! The more I listen to my patients and learn about their goals, values, concerns, preferences, lifestyle, experiences, and even budget, the more specifically I’ll be able to recommend a plan that will leave them feeling great!

Not only does a skincare regimen have to deliver from a science and safety perspective, it has to match a patient’s preferences, goals, and values. How does Ultherapy work? Ultherapy delivers focused ultrasound energy to targeted depths of the skin on the face, neck, and décolleté. It works to remodel existing collagen fibres and activate new collagen production for effective skin tightening and lifting. Prior to treatment, your provider will draw a grid on the area to be treated. This will ensure accurate and even delivery of ultrasound energy beneath the skin’s surface. ... Depending on the area being treated, the procedure can take 30-90 minutes. You will feel a prickling heat sensation throughout the treatment, but it shouldn’t be too uncomfortable. Results will appear gradually over two to three months as new collagen builds and skin appears firmer and more youthful.

What does the HCD experience look like with COVID-19 Protocols in place? You’ll arrive on time for your appointment (as the elevators are operating on reduced capacity, allow yourself extra time or consider taking the stairs) alone, free of all makeup, and wearing a mask. Our team will also be wearing required PPE as directed by provincial medical authorities. You’ll visit the hand sanitizing and screening station at our clinic entrance, after which you’ll be escorted dir...ectly into a private, sanitized room, where a final personal health screening will be administered by a nurse. Your treatment, bookings and skincare will all be managed in the privacy of this treatment room. As always, we’ll be washing our hands thoroughly, and we’ll ask that you do the same. All payments will be made by card. We’ll collect credit card details upon appointment confirmation and will process your payment following your treatment. The HCD experience may look a little different, but we hope you’ll find comfort in the familiarity of our care.

This year, I am thankful for my COVID perspective. COVID presented me with an unprecedented opportunity to slow down and reflect on what really matters, and how I want my life to look moving forward. This sense of clarity has re-affirmed for me that people matter most. My family, first and foremost, and others that I’m lucky enough to have in my life both personally and professionally. Secondly, I am thankful for my team. I am grateful each and every day to come to work w...ith a group of caring, expert, passionate women who are committed to doing their absolute best to practice aesthetic medicine during a pandemic, and who bring 100% each and every day for our patients and for one another. I feel incredibly grateful to lead a team and cultivate a culture of transparency, honesty, strong work ethic, and wellness. Last, but not least, I am grateful to my patients, who through their COVID engagement have crystallized for me that the support we provide them in clinic allows them to feel good and live their best lives.
