EMERGENCY - MISSING CAT ALERT!!!! After finally coming inside, getting medical attention and a foster home, LYON escaped out of the window in the Bells Corners area (inside Moodie Dr, Seyton Dr, Robertson Rd area). He should not be approached as he will hide. Please post any sightings here and/or email: [email protected] and/or text: 613-851-4930. Please share urgently, and if any experienced trappers are available, we would gratefully appreciate the assistance. He is immune-compromised, has kidney issues and needs to be on his medicated food......
Here is a video of the sweet NICHOLAS who just came inside! He is SOOOO content to be inside, all he wants to do is lounge and sleep, and he adores being in his carrier! He has a calm gentle demeanour and will need a kind patient person to earn his trust! His test results came back and not surprisingly, with all the war wounds all over his body including his infected toe, he is FIV+. :( He just needs a loving home to pamper him and love him - after his long difficult survival outside.... Thanks for sharing! http://www.hungryandhomelesscatrescue.com/adoption-form.htm Email: [email protected]
COVID NEWS & PETS! Three weeks ago, four people who all had COVID-19 and lived in a home together, passed it to their dog! This was the first positive test result of a dog in Canada who contracted the virus from people. Precautions are needed to keep our pets safe as well!
We are continuing with the spaying and neutering of both litters, and today it's VAREKZHI 's turn - of the Polydactyl litter. Hopefully she will have a smooth recovery after her surgery. She is in a permanent home with her brother VANTER (who has been neutered)! :)
Tonight will be 8 days since LYON has been missing..... Thank you to everyone who has been continuing to search day & night, putting up posters, walking endlessly looking for him, sharing to try and get sightings, printing posters, etc. LYON is so lucky to have so many people who care about him and are trying to help him. Thank you! No sign yet, so we need to keep looking....
Here is the beautiful Momma BROCKVILLE and her babies - nursing and cuddling! BROCKVILLE is such a great mom. Whoever decides to adopt BROCKVILLE with one of her babies will be a very lucky person - she is such a sweet cat! And her little ones are just as sweet as their mother! <3 http://www.hungryandhomelesscatrescue.com/adoption-form.htm Email: [email protected]
Still no confirmed sightings of LYON, and sadly MANY black cats in the area...... :(
