Well, we did it. Catered our first wedding, for 100 people. One hundred people I did not know. Everyone loved it. What was on the menu? Appetizer: cheese and cracker trays, and fresh veggie trays, during cocktail hour. Dinner: dinner rolls, Southwest pasta salad, Greek salad, Caesar salad. Lemon rice pilaf. A roasted carrot, zucchini and onion medley. Roasted potatoes.... Grilled lemon and herb chicken, and roast beef. Of course, with Yorkshire puddings, and gravy. Dessert: Nanaimo bars, lemon bars, apple tarts, home made peanut butter cups, and a fresh fruit tray. And cupcakes, both chocolate and vanilla with buttercream, and lemon with cream cheese icing. For the bride and groom, a 3 tiered lemon cake with cream cheese icing, as requested! What an honour it was to cater his beautiful event, for such a wonderful couple! Thanks again to Janie Holzmann, my planner extraordinaire, Janine Major and Traci Penn, partners in crime, and Wade Blake, my rock. You're the best!

Busy day yesterday, and hot! Perogy lasagna, and chicken fajitas with all the sides. Followed by delicious lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream icing, fresh fruit, and of course, chocolate chip cookies!

Another successful evening, thank you to John and Jaclyn for the opportunity to cater your event! Tonight was Greek food, including beef, chicken, and veggie souvlaki, tzatziki and pita, Greek potatoes and rice, and Greek salad. We bring our own grill, and cook on site. We also brought along a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough, and baked them while the guests were enjoying their meal, so they had warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies to enjoy! #mmmchocolatechipcookies #youknowyouwantttoorderfromme #hungryheartseatery

Whew! Yesterday morning started off right, 3 veggie bruschetta sandwiches, 2 bruschetta chicken wraps, a BALT sandwich, a BALT wrap, 2 chicken cordon bleu sandwiches, and 1 chicken burrito. All delivered to happy customers! #hungryheartseatery #mmmlunchtime #youknowyouwanttoorderfromme

Ahhh....the classic Chicken Bacon Clubhouse...a delicious triple decker with roasted chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, mild sugar cured bacon, and cheese of your choice. Served on toasted bread of your choice! Mmm... you know you want one!
