Hi neighbours! This year is a challenge for the outdoor rinks. The weather has not been very cooperative. We are asking everyone to refrain from going on the ice until the weather stays cold enough to help form a strong base. We will let you know when it is safe to use the ice. The change facilities will remain closed while we are under a Provincial State of Emergency. We are working to have the best possible ice for your enjoyment. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated. Thank you :)
What a great idea! Let's celebrate our community!

Congrats to Aileen and Marie-Noelle! And a huge THANK YOU to all neighbours who have decorated this year. The holiday season certainly feels different. YOU have made it brighter for many. Have a safe and happy holiday season.
Did you know that the Ottawa Public Library has a contest for young writers (between the ages of 9 and 18)? They are also hosting many online workshops for the entire family.
Here's a snapshot of the many bright and beautiful displays around Hunt Club Park. To vote, please "Like" your favourite photo before 12 p.m. (noon) on December 23rd.
It is with great pleasure that I can tell you that the Hunt Club Park Community Association, the Wisteria Park Community Association, and the South Keys Greenbo...ro Community Association recently joined forces to recognize 35 volunteers at the Pavilion Food Bank. Each volunteer was given a Medal, a Tim's Card, and a personalized citation. See below for details. Our thanks and congratulations to them all. See more

Just a reminder that the Hunt Club Park Community Association (HCPCA) will be holding its Annual General Meeting virtually, via Zoom, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To participate, please e-mail [email protected] and we will send you the coordinates for the Zoom meeting. HCPCA is the organization that puts on Summer and Winter festivals at Elizabeth Manley Parks. We operate the two ice rinks in the community. We oversee the establishment of... Neighbourhood Watches in our community. We organize park clean ups. We have the ear of the local City Councillor, the Member of Provincial Parliament and the federal Member of Parliament. We host information sessions to deal with specific safety and crime concerns. The fuel behind all of this work is an active core of HCPCA Board Directors and volunteers. We appreciate and need input from community members at monthly meetings which are held every 4th Tuesday. During Covid-19, these meetings are held virtually through the Zoom. Participation details are posted on our website, our Facebook page and via Twitter. We recognize that you may have a specific interest to advance in order to make Hunt Club Park a great place to live. We need your energy and your ideas to influence relevant change in our community. We are also looking for Board involvement as well as volunteers who can assist in these areas: - Contributing to the Hunt Club Park quarterly newsletters; i.e. writing articles, editing, and photography); - Special events planning and helping out on the day of the event (within Covid-19 protocols); and - Help with the operation of two local ice rinks.
