Dog days of April. Days off are great.

Twelve week old Huntersbest Cadillac Ranch "Caddie" running the first of his three walking singles during todays training. Caddie is in our started dog program.

Our two setups during todays training. Setup one run as all singles for young dogs, left gun right gun double for intermediated dogs and then the middle gun as a single. Advanced dogs ran it as a long middle gun ( 254 yds), left gun (134yds) , right gun (71 yds) triple. Blind in between the left and centre guns at 205 yds. The second setup was run as all singles or a right gun ( 158 yds), left gun ( 96yds) , middle gun (134 yds ) triple with a blind up the middle at 173yds.

A beautiful day training today with Jeff and Ann Bendig and Angela Chamberlain. Set up one converging marks . Short gun thrown left to right at 71 yds and long gun thrown right to left at 178 yds. Run as a long / short double for the young dogs and as a short / long double for older dogs with short gun picked up first. Set up two the same concept as set up one with short gun at 68 yds and the long gun at 182 yds. Finished off the trg session with a triple land blind. Right hand blind 76 yds, left hand blind 146 ydas and middle blind 242 yds.

After a swim in the creek Caddie, Zeeva and Dahlia enjoying an afternoon wrestling session on the deck this beautiful sunny afternoon.

A beautiful day out training today even with the sea of Goldens on the other vehicles. First set up a land marking drill. Right hand gun ( birds 1 and 4) at 75 yds, middle gun ( birds 3 and 6) at 108 yds and left gun ( birds 2 and 5 ) at 180 yds. The second set up HT triple with a blind up the middle. Right hand gun thrown first right to left angle back at 108 yds, middle gun thrown second flat throw right to left at 116 yds and left gun thrown third right to left up the hill at 112 yds. Blind up the middle between gunner 1 and gunner 2 at 145 yds.
