Only 1 spot left! SERVICE DOG FOUNDATION CLASS, Starts Wed. March 10, 2021, 1:30 2:30 pm Lying at your feet, calmly and quietly, is an essential skill for service dogs, PALS candidates, therapy dogs and sniffer dogs that work in distracting environments. In this class, we’ll show you simple, effective, rewarding techniques to improve your dog’s obedience skills, with an emphasis on settle down and relax, leaving your dog in a stay while you go out of sight, and introducing... mitigating tasks. This class assumes your dog already understands basic obedience skills like sit, down, recall and loose leash walking. Students may use training aids like harnesses, and head halters. Equipment: please bring high value rewards, and a comfortable dog bed or low platform (like a bath matt, dog bed or Klimb table) for your dog to go to and relax. 6-week indoor group class at Barrett Dogsports Instructor: Dr. Carla Simon Register: https://www.barrettoffleash.com/classes

I was delighted to temperament test a lovely litter of Kayenna Goldens yesterday with Lauren Alexander. And we even got all the toys back. Here's some post-test candid photos.
Dogs naturally like a den to sleep in, and when crates are introduced properly, they're a great way to help potty train, keep your puppy safe, prevent chewing, offer naps to practice calm, and so much more.
After weeks of conditioning, we worked up to firing the cap gun before feeding dinner to this litter of puppies. Do you see signs of stress and anxiety? Do you know what to look for when socializing your puppy? https://vimeo.com/471276174#t=33s
